| Richard Everett Class of 1977 |
Richard "Scoop" Everett passed away on February 20,
2016. A day student from Rome, Richard spent all of
his high school years at the academy. He managed the
boys basketball team his junior year and that same
year won the R.C. Gresham Award for school spirit. At
school, Richard almost always displayed an optimistic
attitude which bolstered the spirits of others. Richard's
hobbies included building and racing cars, canoeing,
hunting and fishing.
