Floyd Chambers Class of 1963

Mr. Floyd E. Chambers, 76 of Chatsworth, passed away Tuesday,
January 12, 2021 at his residence.
Floyd served in the US Air Force. He was a member of Holly Creek
Baptist Church. Floyd loved to read his Bible and served as Pastor and
Sunday school teacher for many years. He had a gentle and kind Spirit.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Lou Foster;
grandparents, Jim and Fannie Chambers; brothers, Steve Chambers
and Ray Chambers.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Brenda Chambers of
Chatsworth; daughters, Jill and Mike Hedrick of Chatsworth, April and
Patrick Wilder of Dalton; parents, Emmitt Chambers of Crandall; brother
and sister-in-law, Leslie and Vera Chambers of Cohutta; sisters and
brother-in-law, Shirley and Ray Bowen of Chatsworth, and Yvonne and
Eddie Sampson of Crandall; grandchildren, Amy Hedrick, Dylan
Hedrick, Owen Wilder and Olivia Wilder; extended family also survives.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mr. Floyd E. Chambers will be
held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from Holly Creek Baptist
Church Cemetery.
Due to Covid-19 social distance and face mask will be required at the
graveside.
Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of the
arrangements for Mr. Floyd E. Chambers.
