Denny Manning
Class of 1960
Floyd Denny Manning, 73, of Rossville, passed away
on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in a local hospital.

Denny was a retired boilermaker with Local #454 and a
member of Fairview Baptist Church and the Harvesters
Sunday school class. He was a corporal with the U.S.
Marines and served his country proudly. Denny was a
member of the Rossville Masonic Lodge #397 F&AM
where he served as past master and was past patron
of the Eastern Star . He was also a member of the
Alhambra Shrine and Knights Templar. In addition to
fishing and gardening, Denny loved his family, his
church family and his grandchildren. His father, Floyd
Manning and brother, Richard Lansford, preceded him
in death.

Survivors include his loving wife, Gail Manning; sons,
Mark & Kevin Manning, & Robert Barnes; daughter,
Michelle Crutcher; mother, Ruth Lansford;
grandchildren, Cole, Bethany, Christopher, Crystal,
Kayla, Dawn & Tyler; brothers, Larry & Tommy
Lansford; several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26th at 3:00
p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Bennett
officiating. Mr. Manning will lie-in-state from 2 – 3 p.m.
at the church on Friday. Private burial will be held in
the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
